Duties
Take the lead in IT development and automation initiatives, in particular for customer-facing applications, mobility applications, database development and data mining, and as assigned by the management
Provide technology troubleshooting and helpdesk services to Marketing Services team leaders and team members as assigned
Maintain IT support for Marketing Services teams
Help out other functions where directed by the General Manager or Managing Director
Any other duties which may be assigned by the Managing Director, General Manager or Team Leader from time to time.
Requirements
Extensive portfolio of previous programming work in a variety of programming languages including C, C , C#, Java, and SQL
Skills and experience in at least 1 of the following: PHP, Python, Ruby, MATLAB, R, GAUSS, VBA, Objective-C, Visual Basic, Perl, JavaScript, Ajax, Hadoop, Mongo, Cassandra, Storm, Kafka, Drill, Dremel, Gremlin, Giraph, MemBase, Delphi, Erlang, Scala, Go
Bachelor's degree in a computer-related major from a reputable university
Fluent and confident English speaker
Ability to write in clear Business English
Excellent listening and reading comprehension
Typing speed at least 80wpm
Familiarity with basic business and accounting concepts
Leadership experience at work, in school or in the community
Keen interest in latest technologies as employed in international business media settings
